Corvettes Against Breast Cancer VIII
Corvettes Serving America
Atlanta Motor Speedway
October 9, 2010

New this year, and I will definitely be back!

I had the pleasure of meeting several members of the Atlanta area club, Pacesetters Corvette Club, which has been running this fundraiser event  for 8 years. They were in Maine in May of 2008 on the 3000 mile Tour For A Cure.

Leaving home 7:23am

First, a car show with my club at Home Depot in Stevenson AL until early afternoon.

For the Registration fee of $10 you got 5 laps for each $25 donation.

Here we are, ready to take off. Like that high-tech camcorder mount?

This is a screen capture of my best lap; head-up display shows speed & tach.
I wish I had this setup in place @ Talladega when I saw 152! Atlanta is a much tighter course.

Seen in the pits: Supercharged Viper! If more is better, then too much is just right...
