Always one of my favorite events, and this year didn't disappoint! With Shari O'Brien's help we raised $885 for the American Cancer Society's Bowling Green office!
Thursday, April 28
The required very early start, necessary to avoid the hideous Nashville commuter traffic!
Arrived before 8:00am, with no slowdowns.
First stop: the Corvette Cafe for one of their great sausage egg & cheese biscuits. While waiting: This is my car on the counter.
Kind of tight for space on Corvette Boulevard, but it worked.
Friday, April 29
Great, high visibility parking spot with the Michelin display!
My Vette and I even appeared in the Celebrity Pick Car Show Winners' Circle photo!
The Michelin Man, "Bibendum", made an appearance at the table.
He always gave me a "High 5" when we passed.
To show my appreciation to Michelin, which has provided all the tires for the C6, I posted this sign on the car.
Seen near my spot outside was this stunning resto-mod Split Window.
Always have to get a shot of Sandy's Brick!

Saturday, April 30
Long time friend and benefactor Chuck Mallett made a
surprise appearance, on his way back to NC from CA.
Chuck did all the maintenance on our C5 and provided
the wheels and the first set of Michelins for the C6!
Sorry, no pics of the Saturday Evening banquet - too busy selling 50/50 tickets.
The pot was $1730 - $885 each for the winner and for the American Cancer Society,
sent to the Bowling Green office.
