The start.
The drive across Maine was incredibly traffic free, probably because
the foliage was nowhere near peak as a result of the warm, dry weather.

We first checked out the gate house and the castle,
Then moved over to the field where a barbecue was served.
Stop for the night at the Bedford, MA home of my daughter and her husband.
The Lakes Region Corvette Club sent me the $200.00 generated
by the 50/50 drawing done at the barbecue.

The next day was the "Vettes in the Village" in Mystic CT.
