3rd Annual Corvettes Conquer Cancer Show
October 26, 2013
Landers McLarty Chevrolet
4930 University Dr.; Huntsville, AL
This is a fundraiser for the American Cancer Society. This year the show raised over $7000 for ACS!
A tremendous THANK YOU to the Vettes with Vettes and Corvette Owners club for all the support!
There were 7 "Participant Choice" awards, 1 for each Corvette generation, which were awarded to the Vette that generated the most $ in its collection box. This was one case where padding your own ballot is highly encouraged! In fact, participants could collect from family and friends in advance of the show, then stuff a check payable to the American Cancer Society in their box for a tax-deductible donation!
A Best Club Participation award went to the Corvette club that showed up with the most Vettes: the Shoals Area Vette Enthusiasts (SAVE)!
Marla and Randy brought the traveling National Corvette Museum store to the show.
Eric Millette from the Corvette Assembly Plant was there with a 2014 C7 Stingray that you could actually touch and sit in!
