This festival raised $749 for the American Cancer Society, beating last year's Real Men Wear Pink Party total of $664!
Our favorite Food Truck, Bama Wild Dogs, was serving their last meals before retirement at Salty Nut Brewing, a few miles away. I made a quick run there to pick up 3 Rattlesnake Rabbit Brats and to bid them farewell. Super nice people - Kevin & Donna; we will sure miss them!
This unusual game was set up when I returned to Rocket Republic: The Hatchet Toss! Throwing hatchets at targets! Almost as many women as men were playing.
The top donor of the evening, Deb Bell, signs the high donor section of the hood. She not only was high bidder in 2 of the live auctions, but she won the 50/50 drawing - and donated her share back to the American Cancer Society, putting this event over the top to beat last year's total!
