Slidell, LA
Thanks again to the Greater New Orleans Corvette Club for hosting us
at this great event. While there, the Club also renewed their annual
Corvettes Conquer Cancer Sponsorship!
Thanks to GNOCC's hospitality, we were able to send $200.00
to the New Orleans office of the American Cancer Society!

Start of what was a really quick trip last year.
And I thought last year's trip was fast: Check these stats for the ride down!
Time to clean up the car, socialize and await the great pot luck dinner... and a few beers.

The weather was great this year so I did the full setup in front of the Bayou Country Store.
A quick walk around the show.
For the right to sign the underside of the hood, these wonderful folks were
the source of the $200 we sent to the American Cancer Society office in New Orleans!

"Cars and Coffee", at Cafe Du Monde in Covington LA.
An incredible assortment of cool and exotic cars that just gathered for a couple hours of socializing, with coffee and cameras.
This one in particular caught my attention: a Miata with a Corvette engine... under the stock hood!
About 11:00, Felix Famularo led a very mixed group of maybe 75 Corvettes and exotics on a very "spirited" jaunt over great roads with NO impeding traffic! We were running 80+ most of the route! I stayed with them for 100+ miles until they stopped for lunch, then headed home. Thanks Felix!
Final stats.
