Grand Reopening
Springfield, VT
May 24, 2003
This little gem reopened for 2003 to show off the latest additions, the most obvious being the Springfield Royal Diner that is now part of the Museum. This is a 1955 Mahoney Diner that was moved here from its former location as the Royal Diner in Kingston, NY. The diner was packed all weekend, with waiting lines common! Unfortunately, the weather was soggy, so the Corvette crowd was not nearly what it could have been.
We were set up inside where it was warm and dry.
The latest addition to the Corvettes on display.
In spite of the gloomy weather, several interesting cars
showed up for the evening Cruise Night.
The local Sunday paper ran this:
Final stats for the trip after returning home to Maine.
