Sandy & I had the privilege of meeting Ray during our first event at the National Corvette Museum, Labor Day 1998.
What a great guy, and so proud of the Museum and the fact that he held Lifetime Member #1!
He showed it to me and I took a picture of it. You can just make out the "1" in the center of the field.
He donated the Museum's first Corvette, his 53, below. And there's his card on display!
His family made him part of our mission by donating $25 to the American Cancer Society to add his name to our hood.
