Sights around the hall
This caught my eye: Back in the 70s, 80s & 90s we usually displayed our 63 like this - with the hard top raised.
People thought it was some radical custom!
Grand Marshall, Kevin Mackay, brought several examples of the superb work produced by his shop:
Below is the Corvette that won its class at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1960. Subject of the documentary, "The Quest", it was tracked down by Kevin for Chip Miller, restored to as-raced condition by Kevin and taken back to Le Mans by Chip's son, Lance, in 2010. There, one of the original drivers from 1960, John Fitch, drove it around the track once again, at age 92, with Lance by his side!
I was privileged to get a ride in this car at the National Corvette Museum 16th Anniversary event in 2010.

Lee Bell's beautiful 1964!
Kevin Mackay talks about what he does and how he got there.
Then Corvette Homecoming director Joe Pruitt presents him with a beautiful plaque.
I humiliated Kevin and Head Judge John Ballard by posing them with our club's Roaming Gnome! Thanks guys!
